MATERIAL FOCUS / COPPER

Copper materials from Brazil.
Specified. Verified. Traded.

We structure export transactions in copper-bearing mineral materials — each qualified by lot-specific identification, technical documentation and commercial feasibility. Submit your specification to begin matching.

MATERIAL TYPES

Not one product. Different transactions.

Copper-bearing materials are not interchangeable. Classification changes grade expectations, logistics, pricing basis and regulatory treatment — so we describe opportunities only after classification is confirmed.

TYPE / ORE

Copper ore

Run-of-mine or crushed material, typically lower Cu grade, higher freight cost per unit of metal. Assay variability and moisture directly affect the payable content.

TYPE / CONCENTRATE

Copper concentrate

Beneficiated material with higher, more uniform grade — the standard input for smelters. Requires documented beneficiation origin, assay certificates and penalty-element analysis.

TYPE / OTHER

By-products & secondary materials

Copper-bearing by-products, intermediates or secondary materials. Legal classification can trigger additional export requirements — including waste/shipment rules where applicable.

We do not publish unverified grades, inventories or availability for any category. Status is confirmed per lot in negotiation.

COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATION

What we assess before quoting.

01Cu grade — % and dry vs. wet reporting basis
02Moisture content and determination method
03Granulometry, packaging and handling form
04Impurity / penalty elements and deleterious limits
05Origin documentation and assay laboratory
06Negotiable volume, frequency and stockpile form
VERIFICATION & INSPECTION

Independent checks, agreed per deal.

Buyers may require independent sampling and assay at origin or load port, witnessed weighing, and internationally recognized inspection companies. Inspection scope, cost allocation and hold/release terms are defined in the transaction contract — not presumed.

ORIGIN

Source verification

Supplier identity, lawful origin and material classification reviewed before commercial structuring.

ANALYSIS

Lot documentation

Assay reports, moisture certificates and sampling records evaluated per lot — where provided by the supplier.

SHIPMENT

Logistics & terms

Containerized or bulk shipment, port of loading, Incoterms® 2020 and payment security negotiated per operation.

BUYER QUESTIONS

Copper sourcing — common questions.

Does REPT Minerals own copper mines or stockpiles?

No. REPT Minerals is a trading company — we purchase copper-bearing materials from registered Brazilian suppliers and structure their export to international buyers. We do not own mines, concessions or inventories.

What copper grades are currently open for specification?

We are accepting buyer specifications for copper-bearing materials in the 05–20% Cu range. Final grade, reporting basis and impurity profile are confirmed per documented lot — not from listings.

How is contained copper calculated in a lot?

Contained copper equals dry tonnage multiplied by the verified dry-basis grade — moisture is measured by an agreed method and deducted from shipped weight. Payable copper is defined contractually: payment percentages and deductions are negotiated per transaction, not presumed from a universal rule.

Who pays for ocean freight?

REPT arranges domestic land transport and customs clearance up to the load port. Ocean freight is normally the buyer's responsibility, unless a different allocation is negotiated under the agreed Incoterm.

Can copper-bearing residues or by-products be exported?

Only after legal classification review. Materials classified as waste or controlled residue may require additional export authorizations — for example, Basel Convention procedures — and are never treated as conventional ore.

Send your copper buying mandate.

The fastest path to a real quotation is a specific request: material category, Cu grade range, impurity limits, moisture and assay basis, tonnage, frequency, destination port and preferred Incoterm.
